Revisiting the Purpose of Land Policy: Efficiency and Equity

چکیده

Land policy influences how and by whom land is used; therefore, it impacts the efficiency equity of use. This paper offers an economic perspective on as fundamental purposes planning policy. It brings a highly needed mutual understanding between economics, whilst acknowledging limitations theoretical concepts in their real-world applications. The also provides solid ground for analysing trade-offs interventions. Situations minimising should be particular interest they provide opportunities improvements without necessary sacrifices.
